The Man, The Myth, The Murray is 'coming soon' to a stage near you.
Bill Murray will be backed by his Blood Brothers—Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia—for a short tour in early 2025 and you can be the house there will be some big Nick The Lounge Singer energy and antics that will leave 'em wanting more.
Murray previously performed with the Blood Brothers in Las Vegas for the HART Party benefit event back in September, where they mowed through classics such as "Slow Down" and "Like A Rolling Stone" and are set to run it back at the SF Sketchfest comedy festival in San Francisco on January 29th and 30th, 2025.
The party starts off in Chicago, of course—two nights at Thalia Hall on January 3rd and 4th, the two nights at Sketchfest at month's end, and then it's down to Atlanta on February 7th at the famed Variety Playhouse—the mini-tour concluding in New York for a Valentine's Day show at Port Chester's The Capitol Theatre, concluding at Sony Hall in New York City on February 15th.
A bonus for fans attending the Port Chester show on the 14th as Jimmy Vivino will be making a guest appearance; "Jimmy V" most-known for his years in the late-night talk show world— fronting his Basic Cable Band for Conan O'Brien, as well as a member The Max Weinberg 7, when the long-time Bruce Springsteen drummer was a part of O'Brien's show from 1993 through 2010.
Regarding Zito and Castiglia, the former a guitarist, co-founder of the Royal Southern Brotherhood and a solo artist—while the latter has too many credits to name, while Castiglia's bio notes that he "combines hardcore blues with soul, rock and country flavors for a sound that will appear to rockers and blues purists alike"—all of which is up Bill's alley when assuming his iconic frontman role.
This photo is from the Murray's family's annual Caddyshack Charity Golf Tournament in St. Augustine, Florida—where Bill is prone to hopping on stage to belt out some classics; tons of footage available on YouTube for those who want to go down the rabbit hole to get a taste of what they're in for early 2025 with the Blood Brothers hit the road, spreading peace, love and their brand of happiness.
